EPIC 2025

We will look at how to use very simple equations such as 1+1=1 to teach students how to write simple, compound (2 or more independent clauses), complex (one independent and at least one dependent clause), and compound/complex sentences (at least 2 independent and at least one dependent clause) in meaningful assignments. We will also look at what MN DOE state standards will be covered by each of these. I gave this workshop at the National Council of Teachers of English, Minnesota Council of Teachers of English, MinnTESOL, Assembly of Teachers of English Grammar who also published it in 2017.
